Agricola Hardware and Lumber was established In 1999 when owner Brenda Massey purchased an older hardware and lumber store in need of change and revitalization in Agricola, MS just south of Lucedale. With rough beginnings, the hardware store began to serve the area in the best way it could. With the help of owner/operator and son Elliott Massey, Agricola Hardware and Lumber thrived in the Agricola community for almost 15 years, but the store was held back by a 5,000 square-foot sales floor. So in 2016, with the help of corporate partner Do it Best Corp., the Masseys decided to begin construction on a newer, larger, and more improved building to expand service to the community. In 2017, the brand new ,14,000 square-foot Agricola Hardware and Lumber was opened ,and for the past 5 years, it has helped serve Agricola, Lucedale, and surrounding areas by putting customers first and committing to excellence.
